About BWhale

An engineering team built to own the whole stack, not just a slice of it.

BWhale was founded by engineers who got tired of watching industrial technology projects stall between vendors. We operate our own electronics lab, our own software team and our own delivery discipline, so the systems we build are designed to survive contact with real operations.

Our story

From a hardware bench in Viña del Mar to a full-stack industrial partner.

BWhale started as a small electronics and firmware practice solving concrete problems for operations that could not depend on generic, off-the-shelf devices. Over more than a decade, that practice grew into a full engineering organization spanning PCB design, embedded systems, cloud software and field deployment.

Along the way, some of that engineering became products in their own right. CalGrow, Druppify, WrIoT, SmartClock and Tectronix are not side projects — they are proof that the same discipline we bring to client programs can carry a product from prototype to a market-ready platform.

Today BWhale works with teams in mining, logistics and agriculture who need one accountable partner across hardware, software and operational rollout — not a chain of subcontractors that stops talking to each other after the handoff.

One team, the whole stack

Electronics, firmware, software and deployment are handled by the same organization, so nothing gets lost in translation between vendors.

Built for the field, not the demo

We design for harsh environments, distributed assets and long operating cycles — conditions that a polished prototype rarely has to survive.

Bilingual by design

We run delivery in both English and Spanish natively, so LATAM execution and U.S. stakeholder reporting happen in the same conversation.

Accountable after go-live

We stay engaged after launch through support and iteration, because most industrial solutions fail quietly after the first release, not before it.

BWhale hardware lab
Our lab

A hardware and software lab under one roof.

BWhale operates its own electronics bench, testing equipment and cloud delivery practice in the same location, which means hardware and software decisions are made by people who talk to each other every day — not by separate companies coordinating over email.

Our team

Engineers who stay close to the field.

BWhale is built around a small, senior team that works across disciplines instead of handing projects between silos.
